Creative Missional Community’s mission is to create a safe and loving community where artistic expression and creative talents of young people are encouraged and celebrated.
Creative
We believe that being creative is an essential part of being human. All too often opportunities for music lessons, art classes, dance, and theater, are reserved for those who have funds. CMC is dedicated to bringing the creative arts to young people without cost. We understand how critical it is for youth to express themselves in a safe and creative way, and we strive to make that possible.
Missional
We believe that everyone is deserving of unconditional love and care. CMC reaches out to young people who are often passed by and struggling, and serves them with open arms. All are encouraged to come as they are, and all are loved without judgement. We choose every day to see the unseen, listen to the unheard, and show up for those who have been abandoned.
Community
We believe that young people thrive best in a loving and safe community. We understand that life can be filled with difficulties and hurt, and so we intentionally build a compassionate community around every young person with whom we engage. CMC uses the creative arts as a way for young people to find connection and support in their daily lives.
